Gone; Lost; Free

DeathInGrey

My heart is gone
Somewhere down the road, I must have lost it
Done dealing with the atrocities that reside less than a scratch away from the surface of my mind
It must have left, leaving only a dark desolate pit behind
Is my heart lost?
Lost out in a cold, unforgiving world only to return back to me dead and crossed
Or is my heart free?
Free to live life and love… without me…
