Love, Not Hate. Peace, Not War

MrWilliams8717

Love, not hate

Please do not discriminate

Joy through pain

While I'll standing in the rain

Glad, not sad

Love is all we had

Encourage, not discourage

Faith will search us

Heal, not kill

We want to do God's will

Peace, not war

Determination is what we're searching for

The beginning, not the end

Love and peace within

If you're looking for love and peace

Spirits will rise at ease

It's time to throw the war and hate

Joyfulness and faithfulness will do appreciate.

I've been thinking about this recently and realized that mankind has been at war since the beginning of time. As much as we love peace I believe it is out our reach. That said, I like your poem.
