At sea

Whimsical_1

The great boat will sink

it struggles on the brink

of forceful, treacherous waves

the seasond captain saw

the crew stand in awe

as the mast broke and vanished in the haze

That is a sinking feeling, no pun intended. Nice.

I can picture the mighty sea engulfing the entire ship and its crew. An adventuresome poem for sure. ~ Sonia

Well, I am left to guess what happened to the ship to make it sink? It is short, and leaves the reader guessing...or this is a symbolic short poem to reflect a sinking feeling the author is trying to depict... Nice!
