Nothing Ever Happens To Me For Free.

kevin browne

it's the same old story, nothing ever happens to me for free
disco dancing, techno blaring, and love is the golden key
wrist watch Rolex buying with a Porshe and a Lamborghini
house watch on holiday, where in the world is liberty
diamonds filled with gold that wears Brunello Cuccinelli suits
speed boats, jet skies so sing along with some melodies
richness in the bank with a platinum golden card for sale
spending all the ££££s on a restaurant and with a cafe to
jumbo 747 a pilot in the sky, parked it on the drive you see
10 million pounds a year when a footballer kicks his balls
pockets filled with cash bought by all the silly dreams
mansions fit or kings yet no mention of the blinded queen
the throne on which is sat upon a guarded memory
an empire state of some buildings went down in History
rock'n'roll stars they show us what it is with a £million a show
looked for fields with barley and some flowers just for me
marble floors with golden candelabra and a sparkle from the sea
furry jackets and handbags that cost a house or three
it's the same old story, nothing ever happens to me for free.
