I got a country song on my mind
Keep telling myself it's all gonna be fine
Upside down in this crazy life
No tears stain my cheeks
Doesn't matter that you haven't looked at me
Quite the same lately
I can see unconditional slipping away
Drowned out by the circumstance of everyday
It's all out of reach right in front of me
I just silently pray things will turn around
Thinking about how everything changed
How your eyes and mind are wandering away
To close for comfort riding it out
Tides are turning again and again
Knowing it's the beginning and never the end
I like to know where I always stand
Makes me feel safe through all that is unplanned
I just sigh and swallow my tears
Laugh in my head at my fondness of fears
Say a prayer to live a better life
Look for love instead of a fight
To close for comfort in the dead of the night
To close for comfort when everything's right
Holding on instead of letting go
Got a country song stuck in my head
Kept me up all night tossing and turning in our bed
Sleepless on this crazy night
Go ahead play it again
Country Song
Crazy Life
