The End of Hope

The end of hope

is a precarious place

A depiction of loneliness

on a hardened face

All those years

so long toiled

Every hope and dream

utterly foiled

The last glimpse

of who you were

Silence and anger

what you prefer

No longer willing

to risk that heart

The pain making

for such dramatic art

The end of hope

is a precarious place

A depiction of loneliness

on a hardened face

Hope has such a calming and steadying effect on our lives. Without it is almost inconceivable. Thanks for sharing.
