Depression

ShadedSorrow

Depression is a maniac

With suicidal blades

Chasing you day and night

Until your energy fades

Never letting up

Never leaving you alone

Leaving you hopeless, breathless

Never letting go

Depression is a murderer

With a heart black as coal

Killing your dreams,

Heart, mind, and soul

Never letting up

Never leaving you alone

Leaving you hopeless, breathless

Never letting go

Depression is a reflection

Of your insecurity and fear

Its the face staring back at you

When you look in the mirror

Never letting up

Never leaving you alone

Leaving you hopeless, breathless

But you need to let it go.
