Intricate Lover

FromHerPen

Difficult doesn't even amount to the adjective to describe
The thought process the feelings the vibe
The way our hearts were once intertwined into the depths of our souls
We tried
And every time we were left
With the hurtful answer of no
Sending phrases back and forth
With hints of anguish
Our hearts staring into each other's eyes
With the look of confusion
As we fell to our demise
But yet was unaware that we were rising
From the very gazes of others
Onlookers who had been patiently waiting
Wading in the waters of their singleness and admiration
To take the chance to make an advance
To be able to be the one that would call us
What we used to call each other
Beautiful ...Handsome...Mine
