I reach out

With my words

To touch your heart

I reach out

with my intentions

To reach your thoughts

I reach out

With my desires

To offer comfort

I reach out

With my feelings

To realize yours

I reach out

But you're

Heart is under siege

I try to climb up

But the wall is too high

For me to breech

If ever the days

come back around

You look in your heart

And somewhere

I am found

Then I guess

You can beseech me

Then we will see

That only time will tell

if we were meant

to be
