My Son

Augustus

My Son,

Far away in a distant land,

Standing tall with his mind

Wrapped around the world

Held in his hand

At his beckon

Can stand

To any;

None a better man.

My son!

  • Comment from author about the poem: My son went to Korea with the company that he worked for. He achieved this on his own merit, in a field of endeavor that he loved. I was so proud of him.

          P.S. I see the same thing is happening to you. When you type an apostrophe it appears as an apostrophe / plus back slash. Example: It's. I'm sure. Phil's watch.

          It was... Stunning... so little words yet the meaning behind each one was a book... Amazing
