Why?

Whispered Shivers

Why are your eyes so big, your pupils large and empty?

Do you need to drink another? You have work and you've had plenty.

I'm sorry you think I'm nagging I just worry about you is all.

You seem to be teetering towards the void; I'm just trying to stop the fall.

Why are you so lost, alone? I'm here for you still.

The drugs you're taking more and more, what are you trying to fill?

Our friends have all stopped calling, they don't like you when you're out.

Why are you so angry now? All you do is scream and shout.

The time we have together, you're spending it in bed.

Why are you doing this? Just let me in your head.

I need to understand why you've chosen this way of life.

Every time you lie to me it cuts me like a knife.

I watch you as you fall apart, I cannot look away.

You say that you will change you're ways but I'm still waiting for that day.

It really can! As you realise they can only help themselves. Thank you for your comment 🙂
