There’s a hope that exists beyond reason,
like the refrain of a well written song
There’s a tragedy entrapped in each season,
where right is still captive of wrong
There’s an Angel waiting to take you to heaven,
across that river of torrent and pain
Where true joy in the act of forgiving,
—washes guilt completely free of its stain

Awesome write
Thanks, Tony!
OK, if we were giving stars away here i"d give you 11! Which is impossible because poetry websites only hand out 6. LOL What beautiful rhyme scheme. "washes guilt free of its stain" What an exceptional line. I've used the word stain in a few poems of mine to depict hurt or the like. If I went into every line I'd be here all day. It's magnificent. 🙂
Thanks, Chrissy. Your very kind words mean so much.
I'm honored!
Kurt
