The Black Market

Habibi

Catastrophe prone shadow that resembles a story book evil

Diabolical silk woven from devious minds

Corrupt world of pure upheaval

Once inside you become confined

Things forgotten brought in like cotton

Dark streets never wanted

To let a person go home

Until they feel like they are haunted

From the wealth they needed before the throne

Which becomes their reason for treason

Shadow economy thrives on fraud

It rides upon a poor soul's shoulders

Culprits perceived like they are clawed

Heavy and thick like boulders

Dancing in corrupt unity

Desperate times call for deadly measures

Colorful faces turn tinted white

From their guilt like broken treasures

Those who were once like knights

Fall victim to their own gambles
