Alone

Wolf2778

As the moon hangs above
The stars...so bright
I float in a sea my of despair
Am I alive?
Or have I died?
This… question that has crossed my mind

As I search
For pages of my life
As I stare into an empty book
I search
And search
For the answers that hurt

I look around
Into the dark sea I gaze
I know that I am done

The pillow under my head so filled with tears
An endless ocean I stare
And there I see
Two fins above the sea

To figuars that move twords me
Two shark’s mouths agape
Teeth bore for my fate
Their name I can see clear

One named fear
One called sorrow
I watch with uncaring eyes
As they circle me through the watery deep
From my bed I see them turn

Ever so slowly they turn
Around they swim
Around they gnaw
As thier belly waits for me

And with a burst of speed
They bump and ram
All to get at me
And as the beasts grabs my body
They take me under my covers again
And into this lonesome night of dreams
