Hope

Christina8

Sometimes the clouds are thick and grey

and it seems that they will never part.

But then they do, and you see a sun ray

and you get a giddy feeling in your heart.

A new day has come, so bold and bright.

Depression lifted, at least for today.

There is finally new hope in sight.

I don't want the growing sun to go away.

But if does, I have no more tears.

The deluge has now all but dried.

For now I will not focus on my fears.

I know I have love on my side.

Love it! As I was reading I remembered the reggae song by Johnny Nash, I Can See Clearly Now.
I like the message too in your poem about hope in the future.
