Some things aren't meant to have a label

mkschnoe

Have you ever had [something] taken from you

A piece of you that never existed until it was inexorably fading away

but she lay grasping at the air to only realize she is not moving at all

was it ever here, but always 'there'

did you acknowledge the absence and neglect the presence

One step forward and a glance back its not my past but my reflection

she wears strength feeling weakened

acknowledgment of weakness leaves you powerful and the naive powerless

admires the unknown, and loves even when she is alone

I closed my perspective and open my eyes

I see the stars and moon align

I've become the flames of the fire burning with a passion

but maybe its an illusion and the passion is the fire

This poem fills me with all sorts of metaphorical senarios.
