Teaching From The Past.

kevin browne

a credibility in any stance lives on the rails of danger
fighting for the ego which turns the soul into burning fire
politically, diplomatically and even the military sound fair
sharp as the eagle that somehow seemed to find his golden eye
held as a guest of numerous honors in a matter of some degree
jump a stepping stone, turn around and blame the fun on me
widened smile with a crooked hint across the greedy lips
bags under the money when the loose of sight lost out
bankers are so kind and clean, they all in such delight
when the streets crashed down around their feet. oh how I laughed
move it on up, let's say jump high from off the Eifel Tower
bleeding is a blindness for the ones that those knew who did
every little one one of us who feeds the fools in all of us
teachings from the past show us the hidden truth in lies
passing any buck up towards the next train rail on the track
live like a Riley who never gave a shit anyway.
