Nirvana

Daniel_Fin

The Hiatus which I seek

Shall not come when I'm at my peak

But rather somewhere along the way

Preferably a time like today.

The Hiatus which I seek

Can't be revealed by something so bleak

As using a plant to find the missing link

Or from the specified percentage lying within a drink.

The Hiatus which I seek

Seems but a thought, that must be a leak

For our trained minds aren't meant to dream

For our agnostic souls aren't meant to gleam.

But the Hiatus which I seek

Will arrive when my heart feels sleek

Yet I can finally feel the key begin to rattle the cage

Until I let go of the pen, and stare up from the page.
