Serenity given for a 26th prayer
But can I make it to 27?
I've given all of the blood to your heart
Your weary, weary heart
And yet you continue to drink from this vial of corrupted visions
What will get you to quit draining the cup of it's content?
Will it be the admittance of my own esteems damnation
For I too, drink from this gray glass
I set my feet and stone and let rain the acid
...
Is that what you needed?
A fucking siren to cry amongst your anguish?
I can not give you gold when I can't give myself aluminum
For I am cold to this burning stomach acid
Even when bleach white, I continue to sit unturned
Just as you are becoming
But do not fall to these wretched delusions as I have
For you have too much summer to trade for winter
Do not become the grave I have become

Wow appealing, engaging and interesting way to muse and poetic ode like. Great freeverse style here. Kudos for the poetry.
Pls do comment out my latest poem too. I'm a new poet here but have been writing poetry since years and readers enjoyed it elsewhere or got sth from it until I found this site and wish to make new poem pals.
Thank you, and sure thing 🙂
