Wishful Adoration

FromHerPen

I showed you around
You had finally came to visit
Home was different now
I enjoyed the sweet sound
Of your voice
As we hit the town
Time dwindled
We shared yet another awkward goodbye
Leaving with so much unsaid
A final hug was given
I held onto your embrace
As if I was clutching our very existence
Only to open my eyes and fall back into my reality
