Overland

Habibi

If you could turn the sky inside out

In a weary attempt to match the dirt

But you left it all turn about

Reach out and grab the edges of the skirt

Of the clouds who hum the stories

Of legends covered in worries

To help treat those who are undefeated from the dark blood

Blurs of sunlight

Seep into the ground

Gather a necklace of rust

Only can it be found

After your nails fall off into dust

From scratching your way through the dirt

To the center of the universe.

Kiss your knuckles

War paint stained eyes

Lead to your own capsize
