Life out of a Pill Bottle

amariec_

I wake up at

8, 8:30, 9:00 A.M.

and I take 2 different medications

and at 8:30 P.M. I take another medication

and at 10:30 P.M. another

and throughout the day as needed

but only on an empty stomach

or 4 hours after I eat or right when I have a meal.

And then I'll stop gaining weight.

And then my carpal tunnel won't act up.

And then my anxiety won't be so crippling.

And then I won't get pregnant.

I really liked your poem, personal, yet so true for any of us that have to take medications for anything. Thanks for sharing!
