Sitting on the side line
Waiting for my turn
Trying not to let
All my emotions
Take over
The burn of rejection
I keep reaching
And getting turned away
My desires
Are fading
Changing
Decaying
Untouched and unwanted
This dry climate
Is stifling
I pray for relief
I pray for
change
