The people have spoken,
We elected a new president,
A lot of people are upset,
And they need their time to vent.
It's okay to protest,
But do it the right way,
Because if you don't,
You'll have a big price to pay.
We need to always remember,
To give this man a chance,
Because he inherits a huge job,
And he has to take a stance.
Our country is the greatest,
And that we know for sure,
And because we are,
There is much we must endure.
