Silent

Sofii

I am always silent, I don't say a word

It's part of who I am, It's part of my world

So when they pass by, I don't even smile

But only I know, I want to change after all

The beating of my heart speeds up, slows down

As I hear the piano's very distant sound

Conflicted feelings, and a conflicted soul

I try to speak up, seems I can't after all

And so I remain silent, like I've always been

Burying my feelings very deep within

And when they pass by, silent I stay

That's how they know me, that is simply my way
