Phoenix aged 2 and a half

P.H.Rose

Walking back from shops, with your hand in mine,
With your little legs, keeping a slow pace of time.
Stopping so often, for your next demanded sweet,
then picking you up, as you've got tired little feet.
Waving at strangers, when they walk past our way,
a smile you give them, as they follow on their day.
Screaming with laughter, as a dog walks our path,
Wanting to stroke it before it manages to get past.
Not for a second, do you stop making your noise,
wanting to get home, to resume playing with toys

God I love this child......
