Hey, have you heard about the Flannan Isle Lighthouse Mystery?
Let me tell you about the Flannan Isle Lighthouse Mystery
Hey, have you heard about the three keepers of the lighthouse?
Let me tell you about the three keepers of the lighthouse
First keeper wrote there was a storm.
Second was weeping
Third was quiet
First was writing all that happened
"Storm continued through night. Wind shifted west by north."
He wrote
They prayed, he wrote
Nobody knows why though
When the captain reached the lighthouse, they were missing
Everything in order was, as if they had just woken up
But...
A chair was overturned, and all the clocks had stopped
Two sets of outdoor gear missing, only one was left
Iron railings were out of shape
And the iron railway was completely wrenched out of concrete
Surely a storm must have caused this!
“December 15. 1pm. Storm ended, sea calm. God is over all”
They read
People thought they had drowned on the storm
Now they all seemed to be wrong
And on December 15, they noticed, the light hadn't been lit
December 15 they disappeared
"But, if the storm had already ended
Why weren't they still here?"
And so, people asked that same question
Trying to find the answer
But it seems the mystery couldn't be solved
Even a hundred years after
And now that you've heard the mystery
You must surely be curious, right?
I assume you can't solve the mystery
But if you do, I'll listen with delight

- Comment from author about the poem: This is completely based on the Flannan Isle Lighthouse mystery. It definitely wasn't my best, since I rushed it xD I don't really like the ending but like I said, I rushed :)
