A common time of sickness and lust
I've fallen prey to your whisper again
Like the needle to the junkie,
I'm a masochistic time bomb of a slave to you
A fish with a hook in it's gills
Skin me so I'll be one with your destruction
...
Drain my eyes of worth and fill them back with delusion
You're the one, yes the one
I'm a dog at your needle tipped knees
Kick me and I'll lick your face
Spit in my bowl and cut my nose
But above all, you're the one
...
Some thing is trying to pull out my hook
Tearing out of my flesh and trying to take me home
Taking me away from my tree
Fuck them and their haven!
I'll shove the curve back in my stomach
So I'll still dangle on your noose
...
You love me.

- Comment from author about the poem: About a destructive relationship. Something I notice unfortunately a lot. This is a bit of a more sadistic and demented view of it. But who ever said it was a pretty thing to witness?

Great write
Thank ya
Welcome
Why people stay in these relationships defies reason. (Oh beat me, hurt me. I love you.) Chillingly thrilling.
Thanks, and it is sad. It's just a part of that fucked up cycle of abuse sadly
