The stars

Daniel

As I slip into silence
And watch the daylight fade
I look up at the darkened sky
And the stars in all their grace
And I think about the travellers
That they once guided home
And of all the ancient myths
And the stories we were told
And of how we look to them
In the hope they know our fate
But how many still look to them
For their ever timeless grace

It's short length serves to emphasise the meaning behind the words. Such a lovely verse with a glimmer of hope despite the darkness xx
