I think I believe

What I want does exist

Out of nowhere it appeared

So damn fast and I am not even scared

I think I know

God had a plan for me

Keeping you waiting, in the wings for me

Now I know what they mean

When they say....

timing is everything

Persistent in pursuit

Gentle in action

Calmly awaiting my reaction

I think I see

When I let my guard down,

you were there waiting for me

You said I broke your heart

Way back then, when you were young

I think about it and I feel safe

Cause you aren't on

My list of heartbreaks

I think I finally know

Timing is everything

Funny the blessings

That timing can bring

What would seem like coincidence

Suddenly makes perfect sense

I can see you were meant for me

Yes indeed timing is everything......

Comment from author about the poem: I remember writing this and showing him on one of our dates. He LOVED it. I still feel the same.....I suspect he does too.
