La Rosca de Reyes

HappyMarii

I cut with the blade, and bite with my might

No baby so I pass on the knife

Another turn infused with concern

Ah he’s the one!

Everyone cheers he’s blessed this year

Providing tamales for those held dear.

On February the second in his abode

I will sit eating tamales until my stomach implodes
