So urgent the need

To make an escape

Change the scenery

Change the landscape

So brutal the need

To find a new life

To plant a new seed

I want to get away

From this life that I lead

Back away from the fire

No warnings to heed

I want to feel everything

Feel the starvation

Feel the hunger

Feel that forceful drive

I am tired of giving so much away

Wistfully thinking

I'll get it back some day

But no good deed

Goes unpunished you know

And that is the reason

I simply must go

So urgent the need

To make my escape

A daydream is calling

You find my need oh so appalling

But the adventure still beckons

The excitement so enthralling
