Let me Go (A Parody of "Let it Go")

The snow blows white in my heart tonight

Not a footprint to be seen

A heart of desolation

And it looks like I'm the Queen

The wind is howling

like this swirling storm inside

Couldn't keep you safe

only wish I tried

Don't let me back

Don't let me see

Be the good boy I always thought you were

Conceal your heart

Conceal your mind

But it's too late...

Let me go

Let me go

I only caused you harm

Let me go

Let me go

Turn away and slam the door

Here I stand

In a prison of my own making

Let me go

Let me go

The snow is colder without you

It's funny how some distance

makes my heart ache more

The fears that still control me

Tie me up in knots

It's time to see

what I can do

To test the limits and break through

No run

No hide

No place for me

I'm gone

Let me go

Let me go

I'll only break your heart

Let me go

Let me go

I'll never ever cry

I don't want to hurt you

So just stay away

My power weakens every minute we're apart

My soul is spiraling in black abandon all around

And one thought of your face makes me tremble in the dark

Don't ever let me back

The past is in the past

Let me go

Let me go

I will fall like the cry of death

Let me go

Let me go

Is this how it will end

Here I stand

And here I'll stay

Let the storm rage on

I'm always running away

Nice parody. I was not that familiar with Frozen. Powerful song.
