Superficial and fake
Those are the words I use
To describe people today
They say the want more
But when you give them more they run away
They say you're too much
That you're too deep
Small talk is the new deep
Apparently
It's crazy
Try speaking to someone about something that matters
They will run away before you finish asking a question
If it makes them uncomfortable or they are in unfamiliar territory
They're gonna run for the hills
It upsets me
I want more with people
Not just in a romantic way
But in type of relationship
I want to have people around me
that I can talk to about the big things
The things that scare me to the core
And know that I'm not alone
and that they're there
