Limitations

P.X. Vexxus

We are prisoners in our minds and bodies, we cannot break free
We are inexplicably bound to laws of nature, life and society
I want to break free, break the limitations we are forced to live
Something with no script, no beginning or end, help me forget

I struggle against something less corporeal.
Sometimes i wish life were a game with a tutorial.
That I would know the answers that stop the pain.
That a clear series of choices i could obtain.
To remove the suffering from life.
To allow me to live without inner strife.
But I think that pain helps define me.
It clears the fog so that i can see.
To paraphrase a man, I feel therefore I am.
A machine thinks, but i feel therefore I am.
