"Shool Yard Fun"

Liam Lawless

The liquor burns my throat,

as first lesson begins.

Teacher teaches me algebra

and that its "Gay" to sing.

By second lesson things get hazy,

and my drinks almost gone

i'm "Shit" at English

where my classmates talent shone.

I'm almost in tears

but the bullies never stop

they become my worst fears

they are always on top.

Forth period and i feel so weak

too afraid to learn

too afraid to speak

5th lesson and things get worse

i wish to escape in a hearse

sounds speed up and the world whizzes past

now i can cry because its home time at last.

      Oh my word this is
      A very good poem
      I love it... at school
      I was bullied for having
      Darker skin than anyone
      Else in the school...
I did things to get expelled.
It stayed with me for years
      Well done.....

Thank you so much for favouriting my poem. And I am extremely sorry for what you've been through, racism is such a horrible thing. And again thank you.
