Turning away

Tides are turning

Yes times are changing

Fading into the background

Moments passed

Mostly the good ones

So it would seem

Its ok I keep my head up

I walk the path of life

Looking at the scenery as it passes by

Turning away

For it is not what holds my interest

No what captures my eye

is the true expression of beauty

The true beauty of expression can indeed

Capture my heart

Quick before it flutters it away

For I can feel adventure

Beckoning me to follow it

This is what happens when the path

Becomes mundane

Ordinary yes the same

I want to break out of ordinary

Yes perhaps

My intensity is extreme

But I want to live and have it all

I will gamble and know that even with nothing

I answered the bellowing call

Turning away

yes away

from that which no longer

suits me

fits me

mesmerizes me

Turning away

To follow my dreams

The ones that bring me

Love and happiness

The only things

for which I care

Maybe you can

turn away too

and meet me there
