Little Comfort in the past

Voicesecho88

For everyone person you save, there will always be someone you can't save...

You never meant to fail but...

Sativa....the girl with freckles that smelled like roses...

When I met her she had a pep in her step and a lots of skeletons hidden away

She was very defensive at 1st, and it took what felt like forever but I was able to get on her good side

We hung out a lot and she used to tell me about herself (more like vent about the past)

Her struggles...

Her success...

Her hatred of her father...

The scars she gained and created

I came to know her love of flowers...she wanted so much to see people happy.

No anger, just love and peppy silliness

I noticed the marks on her arms...she said it was a dark part of herself she left behind..

The darkness grew closer, she pulled away...

It happened oh so quickly.... Just like oxygen..

You breathe it in and then exhale

Come and gone

Her face haunts my dreams

I've cried rivers for her already

It's been well over 5 years already

The beautiful darkness that is the rose colored flower

Sativa....

Your words, like a tattoo are inked in my heart...

"You...are trying so hard for me...thank you"

"My hero.....never change"

This font is hard to read.

    Emotional piece though.

Such an emotional read; brings truth and realism to such a sad topic. There is beauty in your work which shines through and does far more than justice to your friend xx

I thank you for your kind words. You seem to have a unique style all your own. I'd like to reach that same point you did someday as you have a mind worthy of creating beautiful things.
