The wind blows through this stationary vehicle line,
sitting here waiting too long for your return time.
With your grandson sat and not a happy chap,
too long been sat in his seat and shoulder strap.
Ten minutes I'll only be was relayed to me,
Seems that time has now froze to thee.
Just getting a bit of shopping, I won't be long,
but it seems an age since you've been gone.
A hundred different cars have come and go,
some spaces empty but still a steady flow.
Five more minutes and that's your lot,
a walk home or wait at yonder bus stop.
Just at the breaking point of no return,
you walk from shop ,with a bag laden arm.
With a smile as wide as our river's estuary,
You've finally bough clothes as Is your destiny..
