The fright

isituorme

My hands they twist the covers
Tight into a ball,
My eyes can't leave the fireplace
Thats shaking in the wall,
An Erie silence fills the room
And smells of rancid mould,
Come rushing in to fill the room, from were  the fireplace was homed,
It's gone and in it's place is left,
an opening to hell , blackest dark is all I see,
And terror fills my soul ,
As screams of pain and torture
Echo deep within the hole,
And running feet that slap the ground
Come running near as dare,
Looking for a lucky chance to grab
and drag me there,
Then piercing screams are all I hear
It's like those things can feel my fear,
And deep inside I know,
That something beyond terrible ,will soon jump out the hole,
Then forward it's springs a creature
With intense bright yellow eyes ,And burnt hard flesh and sharp long nails
And teeth as long as knives ,
It kneels down next to where I lay,and starts to stroke my cheek,
Get up and come in there with me, it says,I promised them some meat,
My heart it smashes to my ribs
My nails cut in my hands
I pray the nightmare has and end ,
That god will pull me from despair,
And then the beast lets out a scream ,
And turns and runs back in ,
Back to the  hole from ,
whence it came
The hole of human sin

Such a fabulous description of hell! I love it; the way you describe not only the visuals; but the sounds and smells as well really bring realism to the table. Great work! xx
