Mirror mirror on the wall

Daniel

When you look in the mirror
Tell me what do you see
A prince or a pauper
A beggar or a queen

Are your flaws laid out
For the whole world to see
Or are you a movie star
A goddess of our screens

The mirror only shows
What you chose to be
So if you chose beauty
Then that's all you'll see

That reminds me of the picture of the kitten who sees a lion in the mirror. Very nice idea and well written.

You are right that people look in mirrors and only see what they choose. If they have low self esteem they may feel ugly or another person may feel beautiful. But this poem is beautiful. Great job!
