Displaced.

0ddity

Pay me no more mind
while my strings begin to unwind.
This decline feels more like a steep slope.
I watch all hope fall away
as this shell of a man begins to decay.

I sleep away the days in hope a ray of change will show it's face.
I feel displaced as I replace the pieces I've misplaced.
I cannot escape nor erase the memories that seem to trace across the empty space,
plaguing me with so much hate.

Sometimes you just can't shake that sinking feeling. Well done. Hugs.
