She was the Ocean

jarrman2

There was not a day that went by

where i didn't sail on

she was like the ocean

like in the midst of a storm

you are alone

when you were with her you would at times feel alone

just as sailing alone you and the ocean blue

talk and scream and yell

no one can hear you

not even her

her waves crashed down

onto the unsuspecting boat

waves have no emotion

she was the ocean

you can try and try to break free

the rain would not clear

all seems hopeless

fear of not surviving sets in

dawn breaks and takes the storm and ocean at ease

seagulls, rocks, fish

set the new scene of life

she was the ocean

all seems done and warm

until the next storm
