My friend...

My friend

I have just one friend,
I've known for a while,
I can tell her anything,
all she does is smile.
All the good and bad,
I've had in my life,
even those times,
of too much strife.
I've known this friend,
for many long years,
From youth to old age,
through laughter and tears.
Who is this friend,
I've known for so long,
It's my wife of course
And together we belong.
