rosegold

forksofivy

Eyes wide until morning shine
Wake up on the suns decline
Dwell on pasts
Bliss while feelings lasts
Soon it'll pass
Focus on the eyes in your sockets
Spend time for I bare empty pockets
Rose petals with the complexion of ivory
You started to count your blessings wisely
Stressed on shift
Lonely off shift
Time ticking on your wrist
In need of vacation
Your hearts aching
Revisit the times you missed
Because you couldn't coexist
Pray for a thought
To take away the pain I brought
Our souls will flare
No longer care about each others affairs
The sorrow we shared
Lacking sweet words
Wake up in time to sing with the birds
The ideas growing old
You always preferred your roses gold
