A Christmas Sabbath

P.H.Rose

A Christmas sabbath..

A day of rest and reflection they say of you,
Put down that hammer, folk and tool.
Gather close your flock, family and friend,
The hard fought week comes to its end.
This last of seven will be a very special day,
For this year it arrives on Christmas Day....

Have a happy and safe Christmas
My fellow poetic siders
Love from me and my family..
But please take a second and spare a
Thought for those in need.......
