Anyone Else

I will not be anyone besides myself
I will not hide behind lies and facades. 

I am not arrogant, 
I am proud. 
I am not narcissistic, 
I love myself. 
I am not defiant, 
I stay true to my beliefs. 
I am who I am. 
And I refuse to change that. 
All of this is me. 
My biting sarcasm and silver tongue
My inhuman kindness and my love of animals. 
My impulsive words and actions
My hesitance to love
My instinct for self preservation. 
THIS IS ALL ME.
