For some love’s pluck will last to the end
of life whether desired or not
To my surprise I found it does not lend
karma but does add to life’s tot
Searching I found a love that did transcend
The world was a rose cerise
We were lonely lost souls seeking a friend
and thought we had found peace
In our years as one I swooned in pleasure
I saw things in her I dreamed
angels kept worth far more than treasure
But her love was not what it seemed
I don’t know if she loved me from the start
Perhaps a purge of a past hell
thinking she was feeling within her heart
Until this day I cannot tell
Was my love true? Eros surely concurs,
she was the grand love of my life
I want to hate her but my heart demurs
The thought stabs me with a hot knife

Sorry for the delay Willy but I really do appreciate the kind words. After 19 years with her I was without an identity but gloriously happy. Then I crashed terribly into tbe ground.
