New year 2017

to the past harrowing year I said, farewell.

with ordeals left behind on which I still dwell,

I welcomed the new 17 that was ringing my doorbell,

which would bring fortunes that I could never foretell.

now it is time I gave the wish for a nature's spell,

that renders me and all you my dear family & friends well!
