The Land Of Hope But Not Quite.

kevin browne

look at the stars to see if I fit sorrow

the twinkle in my eye has faded too soon

so another day that is called tomorrow

and that's the day I look to up the moon

pinch is 2 fingers to see who I am

find out with a bruise that came at night

houses and actions are built like prams

and found the land of hope but not quite.

As I read your poem I get the feeling that things don't seem the same any longer. What will we see tomorrow?
Lots packed in a few well crafted lines.
